Typical/It's in there!

Well, it's official...our little Ashlyn is growing up way too fast. Tomorrow will be her first day of "school" (she and Aubrey will be going to the daycare at GCC with Mommy 2 days a week) and she's already trying to get out of it! This morning I said, "Ashlyn, tomorrow is your first day of school!" She quickly replied, "School?!? My stomach hurts!" Honestly, I didn't think that started until they were at least 6 or 7!
Ashlyn is also an interpreter of scripture...
Lately, she has been waking up at night because of bad dreams, so we've started putting her little Bible under her pillow and saying special prayers that Ashlyn will have good dreams and sleep peacefully. (It works!) This morning as Momma was making her bed, Ashlyn saw the Bible and said, "Oh! I wanna read that." So Momma offered to read it to her, but she said she wanted to read it herself. She opened to a page and put her finger on it, then began to read:
"It says: Ashlyn go to sleep. Ashlyn have good dreams. Ashlyn go to sleep. Ashlyn not get spankin'. Ashlyn not have to go to sleep. It's ok." We were rolling on the floor laughing!!
Aubrey update: Aubrey is still wheezing and smiling. For those of you not in the loop, Aubrey went to the doctor on Wednesday, and she has Bronciolitis, which is a form of RSV. She's on a nebulizer every 4 hours, 2 kinds of cough meds, Motrin and an antibiotic. She was on Amoxocillin, but she's broken out in a rash and they think she could be allergic, so the Doc called in another antibiotic for her and she has a follow-up appointment this Wednesday. For such a sick little girl, she's still the happiest, smiliest baby I know!
Oh! I almost forgot! Mema and Momma both got Webcams from the girls for Christmas, so that we could all use Skype to video conference online. We used it for the first time this weekend...and it was a hoot! I don't know who enjoyed it more...Mema watching the girls, or us watching Mema! Mema got to see the girls playing with their toys, plus all the cool things we've done to the girl's room and the house. There is one downside, though. Everytime I open the laptop, Ashlyn thinks Mema is on it!
